Location & area

Panorama is situated about 3km from the village of Cómpeta, on a hillside off the road to Torre Del Mar. It is a pleasant walk from the villa into the village, but not one to undertake in mid-day heat or in the dark and so a car is essential to fully enjoy the villa. We can help organise that with the firm we use regularly and a car can be collected and left at the airport.
Most of the local restaurants still serve tapas and traditional Spanish meals, at very reasonable cost compared to those on the coast.
There are excellent facilities in the village or nearby for family holidays, or for various sports including excellent hill walking, riding, tennis and golf. The coast is only 20 minutes away, with some excellent and quiet beaches within easy reach.

There is a supply of books in the sitting room. Make use of them and add to the collection if you have spare copies, but please do not remove any from the villa.

There is also a CD player, with a supply of CD recordings, but take some of your own if you want your own choice of music.

There is now a Christmas tree and decorations for Xmas visitors!

There is no phone at the villa, nor a public phone nearby, but there is an international call box in the main square in Cómpeta. If you require a phone on site, take a dual band mobile phone set up for international roaming; there is surprisingly good reception at the villa.
