On top of this our traditional markets and festivals will amuse us at different dates during the year. In Ponga, some of them are: Fiesta de las Nieves on August the 5th and Arcedonio┬┤s Hermitage on September the 8th. We should not forget our excellent gastronomy: fabada, stews and homely dishes, cheeses, home made cakes and bakery...all this and many more can be enjoyed at the restaurants in the area, where the Beyos Cheese Contest is celebrated each May..
