Overview

This villa is in a peaceful setting with stunning views of pine-covered mountains. It is in private grounds of 5000 sq m of olive groves, but only 3km from village shops and restaurants. Fantastic walks directly from the villa. The villa is well equipped and comfortably furnished. This is a beautiful romantic setting and is ideal for a couple wanting a peaceful, away from it all break, or is equally suitable for a family of 4. Should you wish to unwind, this is the place for you! Being close to the world famous climbing area of El Chorro, it is also a suitable base for climbers
The villa has 2 bedrooms- one double, one twin, modern tiled bathroom, beamed Andaluz kitchen, lounge/diner with SAT TV and fireplace.
Outside there is a pretty terrace with stunning views, through the olive trees to the pine covered mountains. It is decorated in typical Andaluz fasion, with brightly coloured flowerpots on the patio and walls. Olden wooden ploughs sit on the low walls, adding to the rustic charm. From here you can watch the dramatic sunsets while sipping a glass of wine and escape the sun at the height of summer.
The swimming pool, surrounded by sun-loungers, is at the side of the villa on another terrace. This has Roman steps for easy access. There are table, chairs, parasol and a gas barbecue close to the pool. Some lemon and orange trees line the private driveway from the tall security gates to the villa itself ,whilst the remaining grounds are mainly well matured silvery-leaved olive trees Fantastic walks directly from the villa, an ideal spot for a relaxing break

Location & area

Carratraca is a very pretty, traditional Andalucian "pueblo blanco" with narrow winding streets in which the houses are adorned with bright flowers and plants. Within 5 mins walk you will find the local shops, bank and an amazing selection of eating establishments, ranging from cheap tapas bars, to good quality restaurants. Carratraca also has its own bull ring, now used for concerts, and a 5 star thermal spa with roof top swimming pool.

Only 45 mins from the airport and the Costa del Sol resorts, this is a completley different world- the REAL Spain. Easy for day trips to the coast,but here, up high in the stunning mountains of Andalucia you feel a million miles form it all. Within 10 mins drive you are in the Andalucian lake district- 3 magnificent turquoise lakes nestling in pine-coverec mountains where you can swim, fish or hire pedaloes. Great lakeside bars and restaurants. Only 20 mins from El Chorro gorge-

Regular bus service to Malaga and historic Ronda (each only 45 mins journey). Seville and Granada within 90 mins.
