Overview

This brand new apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated in a rustic style. It is in the centre of the spa village of Carratraca. The apartment is well equipped with everything you might require for a perfect holiday. The apartment sleeps a maximum of 3 people, although a travel cot could also be provided. The accommodation consists of a living/dining area, kitchen with full hob, microwave , bathroom, patio with seating, large bedroom and a further study/bedroom. TV/DVD and a selection of English books are provided. This is quality accommodation at a budget price. Ideally situated for world famous climbing site of El Chorro, fishing or swimming in Ardales lakes- the Andalucian lake district- an area of outstanding beauty. The village has an excellent choice of bars and restaurants and all necessary shops and a bank. The apartment is 2 minutes walk from the 5 star thermal spa where a luxurious half day pampering, including a full body massage can be enjoyed for about 70 euros.

Location & area

Carratraca is the gateway to Ardales Natural Park, the Andalucian Lake District. Only 40min drive from Malaga airport, 1hr from Mabella, Benalmadena, Torremolinos and the Costa del Sol resorts, Casa Elanor offers you a completely different world- the real Spain. A 10min walk takes you into Carratraca -a classic white village, but unusually it has a famous luxury spa baths, and an exclusive Ritz hotel (restaurant open to non-residents)- both perfect if you want to treat yourselves to a day of pampering!! . A Parador restaurant opens at weekends serving excellent reasonably priced meals, while the local bar/restaurants offer 4 course lunches from 6€. Within 10 minutes drive of the villa you will find beautiful turquoise lakes surrounded by pine trees where you can swim, fish and hire pedalos or canoes. 15 min takes you to El Chorro- a world famous climbing gorge . If you wish to explore inland Spain- historic Rhonda is under 1hr away, Granada 90min, Cordoba 90 mins Sevilla 2hrs
