Location & area

The property is in the popular Urbanisation of Calahonda, just a 30-minute drive from Malaga Airport along the main A7 (N340) Coastal Highway and right at the heart of the 'Costa del Golf'.

Here at Calahonda you will find the 9 Hole La Siesta Golf Course and within a 20 minute drive there are some 20 other 18 Hole courses that are available for play all year round. Miraflores-Santa Maria-La Cala-Mijas-Alhurin-Los Naranjos-La Quinta-Aloha-Rio Real-Marbella-Santa Clara-to name but a few.

Opposite the Golf Club is the very popular Club del Sol offering tennis, squash, sauna and a well equipped gym. Many other sporting activities are catered for close by � including skiing!!



There is a mini-market and a few bars and restaurants within walking distance for the fit and active although Car Hire is recommended as this part of the coast is quite hilly. Just a short drive away is the El Zoco and Los Olivos Commercial centres where there are supermarkets, various shops, banks and a huge choice of Bars and Restaurants catering for all tastes.

The local beach is close to the El Zoco complex and there are many more fine sandy beaches within a short drive. Nearby is the picturesque Marina of Cabopino where you can have a drink or meal whilst watching the yachts bob up and down plus the beaches either side of the marina are magnificent. For family fun days out there are a Zoo, Water Parks, Wild Life Parks and Marine Adventure Centres all very close



Calahonda is an ideal base for touring Southern Spain with Granada, Seville, Jerez, Cordoba and Gibraltar all within easy striking distance and just a 25-minute drive away is the wonderful 'White Village' of Mijas. Here there are superb coastal views, famous donkeys and many great restaurants to choose from plus in the square, every Wednesday lunch-time, is a Flamenco Show with complementary drinks.
