Overview

This one-bedroom apartment is situated at the lower end of Calahonda on a small complex of 20 apartments and 3 villas, in a quiet residential area. Although ground-floor it has a large SW facing balcony (not terrace) which provides privacy and enjoys the afternoon and evening sun. Peaceful, yet within 5 min walk to shops, bars and restaurants and about 10 min walk to the beach. Ideal for couples and small families. Accommodation: Double Bedroom; Lounge with sofa-bed; Dining Area; Kitchen with dual hob, washer, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, iron & board; Bathroom with shower over bath. Facilities: Satellite TV, DVD Player, Radio/CD/Cassette Player. Air conditioning in the bedroom is available at a supplement fee. All bedding and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

Location & area

Calahonda is situated on the coast, halfway between Fuengirola and Marbella, approx. 35 min drive from Malaga Airport and just over an hours drive to Gibraltar.
There is a regular bus service on the main A7/N340 road to Marbella or Fuengirola and a train service from Fuengirola to all major towns and cities in Spain, including Malaga.
It is a custom-built urbanisation that is considered as a town in its own right, although it is really only a suburb of Marbella. It has three commercial centres with banks, hardware and furniture stores, travel agencies, hairdressers, bars and more than forty restaurants.
There are at least ten golf courses within 10kms of Calahonda, which also has its own port of Cabopino.
