Overview

This charming Barcelona holiday apartment is located in an old historical building and has wooden floors throughout, as well as stunning original features such as characteristic wooden beam ceilings. It features two balconies and three windows that fill the rooms with Mediterranean light.

The short-term rental consists of two bedrooms with one double bed each and one double sofa bed in the living room. Furthermore, there are two large modern bathrooms provided with shower and bathtub and the subtle lighting and quiet atmosphere make any guest feel they are living the true medieval Barcelona experience.

Location & area

The apartment is in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, on a famous street full of historic buildings and close to all of the interesting monuments in Barcelona. It is situated in the trendy neighborhood of El Born, with its artisan cafés and bars, clubs and restaurants, art galleries and museums - including the Picasso Museum, Textile Museum and even the Chocolate Museum.



The district lays between the historic Gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar and the enormous covered market “Mercado del Borne,” where significant archaeological remains have recently been uncovered.



The Cathedral of Barcelona is just a short walk away, as is the famous Placa Sant Jaume, home of the Catalan Government headquarters. A short five-minutes walk will take you to Las Ramblas, where you can enjoy the variety of shops, cafes and attractions of Barcelona's most famous promenade.



The apartment is well served by public transport - the nearest metro is just a 2-minutes walk away - and for sun lovers, a lovely 15-minutes walk takes you right to the beach.
