Overview
Casa Galesa Cottage has 1 Bedroom but sleeps up to 4 people. It is set in a rural location near Almogia in the heart of Andalucia. It has all the comforts of home to enable you to have a chill out experience here in Spain. We are surrounded by Almond, Carob, Olive and Fig trees. During the cooler months you will see spectacular colours from the wild flowers that grow in the area. The wild lavender scents the airs with it's perfume. You will also see a myriad of birds in the area, the Hoopoe, Golden Oriole, Bee-eater and the Redrumped Swallow to name but a few. If you are lucky enough our resident fox will grace you with his presence,a sight not to be missed. And on a clear day you will see our pair of Eagles glide over the cottage. A truly chill out experience for those of you wanting to get away from it all. Relax in the hammock under the matted pergola and sip a cool glass of sangria. What more could you ask for. Casa Galesa is in a perfect location for those of you wanting to explore the many areas around Andalucia. Places of interest to visit include, The El Chorro Lakes and Gorge, The Wolf Park, The Pink Flamingo Lagoon for Bird lovers, drive to the top of the El Torcal Mountains a spectacular view all round, The Historic Town of Antequera that still has that Moorish Feel, The Lakes Vinuela and Iznaja, visit the little Hamlet of Pastelero and stop at one of the 2 Ventas that offer delicious food and wines. Visit Almogia a typical sleepy, unspoilt spanish village and last but not least Malaga a city steeped in history. Why not come with us for a Guided, Quad or Buggy tour around the mountains of Almogia and take in the spectacular 360 degree views over Andalucia, don't forget to bring your camera. If you just want to spend your time relaxing why not sit by the Owners Pool and take in the views of the area around us.

Casa Galesa Cottage is set in a quiet, secluded and private area. We are in the countryside only a few minutes drive from Almogia.
To access the cottage you will drive through a new avocado plantation via a track.

Amenities & services
Casa Galesa is fully equiped for the duration of your stay. The Cottage sleeps up to 4 people. All linen is provided for the bedroom and sofa bed, bathroom and kitchen. We can also provide a travel cot, pushchair and bottle sterilizer for a baby or young child. You will need a car to get to Casa Galesa due to the location, we can meet you at the airport and show you the way to the cottage for a cost of 20 Euros to cover the cost of our fuel, and get you back to the airport for the same amount. We also have 3 lovely dogs waiting to greet you. We also have 2 Double Rooms with en/suite facilities for Bed and Breakfast in our Main Home at 50 Euros per Double Room including a continental breakfast and for Xmas and New Year 75 Euros per Double room. Guided Quad and Buggy tours available weather permitting. The POOL is situated a few minutes walk from CASA GALESA COTTAGE at the owners main house. The Cottage will have its own above ground pool Summer/Autumn 2007.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
