The cottage is an ideal base for a walking/adventure holiday in a very picutesque setting in a woodland area ideal for picnics BBQ's and camp fires. There are numerous hiking and biking routes direct from the cottage door with and abundance of wildlife and flora all around. It is located in a woodland area about 2.5km from Valca village and around 2km from the new Snowland ski resort which offers year round facilities such as tennis courts bar/restaurant and a tourist information office.
