Overview

Malino Brdo Cottage – Skipark Ruzomberok – offers a pleasant accommodation for 8 – 10 people in scenic environment of Velka Fatra mountain, 150 meters from a ski lift.
INTERIOR and EQUIPMENT: The ground floor is designed as one space including: living room (two sofa-beds) with a fireplace, fullequiped kitchen, dininig part and a hall. There is also a bathroom with toilet and shower and a pantry on this floor. There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The smaller one has one double bed and two sofa-beds and in the bigger one there are 5 singel beds and TV. The object also includes ski(bike) room, woodshed and a cellar.
EXTERIOR:There is an open perron in front of the cottage directed to the west to the skiing slopes. In the east there is a cultivated green place ending into the wood which is accessible through the kitchen door. There is anopen camp fire and a place for barbecue and sports in here.

Location & area

Skipark Ruzomberok is one of the best ski resorts in Slovakia. A modern 8-seat cabin cableway, 1,770 m long, which transports 1,500 people per hour runs from Hrabovo to Malinô Brdo. Directly in the centre of the resort there is a 4-seat chair lift, 2 ski lifts and 4 ski lifts for beginners and children. Every weekend and during holidays there are interesting events and competitions held for visitors of the ski resort and whole family (snowtubing – riding on a special rubber tire, ice tower – something for those who want to try the basics of climbing, various ski competitions, snowpark for children, and the like).

You can find Vlkolinec - wooden village Vlkolínec entered into UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List about 1 km from the cottage.
