Overview

Quinta de Baixo was built during the first half of the 18th century, reportedly between 1718 and 1754.
The present owners restored the house preserving its architecture and main features. The interiors were extensively renovated and fitted with all the modern comforts.

The original century old, French style garden has likewise been recovered, together with the trimmed box hedges surrounding the central lake.

Extending from the garden there is a 4 acres woodland of thick chestnut trees, ideal for a delightful walk with views to the Caramulo Mountain.
