Overview
Set in beautifully scenic countryside in North Portugal, the Quinta DAlagoa is spread over 170 acres of organic farm. The farm buildings, of unusual historical and cultural value are organized around a semi-circular central yard, that consists of 5 main buildings, restored to offer a bed and breakfast accommodations - with 8 double suite bedrooms, central heating, dinning rooms, sitting room with open fireplace, one big pavilion (equipped with video and sound system), games room, and sauna. There is also one olive-oil lagar (press) and one wine lagar, where we, with collaboration of our guests (by request) can produce your own certified organic olive-oil and wine. To our guests we provide a private swimming pool, games lawn. Our traditional meals are all prepared with our organic certified products. Great views over herbs garden and surrounding mountains. Birds-watching and other activities available.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
