Overview

The apartment is fully furnished to a very high standard with an end south facing sun terrace that is not overlooked giving total privacy. All bedrooms open on to their own balconies and the apartment is centrally heated and has a wood burning stove for winter months. The apartment is next to the 1st Tee and overlooks the 18th Green, Driving Range and with views to the sea. A communal and childres swimming pool is available and a beautiful beach is only 5 minutes away. The Clubhouse is located within a minutes walk and offers a restaurant, bar, snacks and lounge area with plasma screen, cable TV and games room. There are, also, all weather tennis courts available. Praia del Rey's golf course has been voted No. 1 in Portugal.

Praia del Rey is located about 45 minutes drive from Lisbon on the unspoilt West Coast between the ancient towns of Obidos and Peniche.
A visit to the walled town of Obidos is a must for not only the history and views from the castle walls but also for the shopping in the narrow cobbled streets. Peniche, a historic picturesque fishing town with its 16th century fortress is known for its seafood restaurants which are inexpensive and excellent.

Baleal is between Praia del Rey and Peniche and this is a very popular bay for surfers from all over the World.
A few miles from Praia del Rey is the Obidos Lagoon, with breathtaking scenery and is ideal for swimming for those famillies with small children. The countryside around this area is unspoilt and rural and is a very good region for local wines.

Payment can be made in Euros or GBP. 10% discount is available for bookings of 2 weeks. A 25% deposit is required on booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure. A refundable damage deposit of £100 or 150 Euros is also required and needs to be added to the final payment. This amount is refunable within 2 weeks of return less the reasonable cost of any breadkages or damage done (not including reasonable wear and tear).

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
