Overview

Our comfortable Lisbon old town apartment Santa Marinha is very central situated in Sao Vicente/Alfama, in 25m distance to our old town house. The spacious and sunny apartment is located on the 1st floor with a nice view of a green square. The living space amounts 90 sqm. The apartment divides into a living-room, 2 sleeping rooms, a complete equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms with bathtub and shower. In the living-room you can also sleep on an comfortable sofa bed. The bedrooms are furnished with 2 mahogany beds with a comfortable mattress and the other one with a king size bed (1.40 x.2 m). The bedrooms offers you very nice views on a green garden with old lemon trees. From the living room you have a beautiful view of a quiet park. The kitchen includes also a veranda. The tiled bathrooms has a bath tube and a shower. This Lisbon apartment was completely restored in 2007.

Sao Vicente/Alfama is the oldest part of Lisbon with the most important sights of Lisbon and the special feeling of one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

Location & area

A variety of attractions can be visited in the immediate neighbourhood of our house. A bakery and small shops are located opposite of our house. Above the apartments a small cafe with a panoramic view invites you for a stay. A few steps down the street is the Renaissance monastery Sao Vicente. The traditional flea market Feira da Ladra with the historical market hall is also very close. The largest sacred building in Lisbon, the Baroque rotunda Santa Engracia rises above the lower part of the market.
The old tram 28 offers the most beautiful city tour. A tram stop is opposite the church Sao Vicente, only 50 m away from our apartments.



The international airport is situated at 8km in northern direction. The best way from the airport is a taxi. The price is about 12 Euro.
