Overview

The apartment located at the heart of Chiado, considered the most beautiful area of historical Lisbon. Chiado was a place of convents in the 13th century and of noble rich residences from the 16th century. After the 1755 earthquake it gained a new dimension becoming the centre of sophisticated Lisbon. The highest social classes and cultural elites met there in cafés inspired in Italian and French fashion for shopping in the best shops or for theatre and opera. Due to its rich history, Chiado is unanimously considered the area of Lisbon with nicer and more elegant classical buildings. Nowadays, it is still a privileged meeting point for ‘Lisboetas' and visitors with its old cafés and shops coexisting with avant-garde galleries, ateliers and lounges. It is the place to live and work for fashion designers, artists, etc.

Location & area

This is a unique location in Lisbon for its beauty, as well as its historic and cultural background. We really miss the sun coming in each morning from behind the buildings, strolling up to the Chiado, walking at night to the nice bars or some restaurant in Bairro Alto as well as staying at home enjoying the view, the blue sky and the fresh and airy feel of the wooden floor and high ceiling.
