This charming and cosy apartment in situated right in the heart of Alfama, one of the most ancient neighbourhoods of Lisbon, close to Museum of Fado and Portuguese Guitar (5 min. from Santa Apolonia subway and train station).
Here you can experience the typical and picturesque atmosphere that still remains nowadays.
Let yourself wonder through the steep cobbled streets and old town alleys and stairways, with the facades strung with washing. In daytime it will bring you back to its Arab origin. At night it will hypnotize you with the guitar notes and the voices singing “fado”.
On foot, by metro or in the famous and delightful tram 28, the apartment is an excellent departure point to visit the most popular spots in Lisbon, such as Castle, Baixa, Chiado and Bairro Alto, or to enjoy the astonishing views over river Tagus.
Nearby you can find taverns, typical restaurants and Fado houses. You will also find small grocery shops and all sorts of traditional establishments revealing an ancient Lisbon.
Coexisting with tradition, you can also find near the river a modern and fashionable area which houses restaurants, bars and trendy shops.

- A bedroom with a double bed (140 cm), separated from the living room with a curtain
- A bathroom with a shower
- A complete kitchen with gas stove and oven, fridge, microwave, fridge with freezer, washing/drying machine
In wintertime the apartment is heated with electric heaters and there is a fan for cooling.
We will welcome you with a bottle of cold “vinho verde”.
You will also find in the apartment various CDs of Portuguese music to complete your cultural experience.
