Overview

This flat is in a totally remodeled 1905 building, 3rd floor without an elevator it is spacious, bright, Peaceful, family home with original carved ceilings and original wooden floors. It sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and a child.

The flat is composed of an entrance hall, a spacious comfortable living-room, a small bedroom with a child's bed. The master bedroom has a walk in closet and a double bed. There is a dining room with wooden carved ceilings, trompe l'oeil wood panel walls with a table and chairs for 6 people and a sofa-bed. There are 2 bathrooms, the main one with a bathtub and a walk in shower, the smaller bathroom connects with the shower of the main bathroom.

The kitchen is big and bright with all the amenities, table and chairs and a high baby feeding chair. The kitchen opens to a partly closed in veranda.

The Vip Grande Hotel and it's SPA and beauty centre are right in front of the apartment.

Location & area

The New Avenues as they are called were built in the 1940`s, are lined with cafes, restaurants, banks, pharmacies and movie theatres. The Praca de Touros, an ex-libris of this part of town, is a Neo- Moorish structure built in the late 19th century all in red brick and features keyhole shaped windows and double cupolas decorated with a crescent moon, are nowadays a modern and sought after mall.



There is the metro and plenty of buses which will take you anywhere in Lisbon, in the vicinity is the train station of Entre Campos which runs to the beaches of the Costa da Caparica and to the Algarve. The Gulbenkian Museum and it's gardens are a must, the museum houses a unique collection of Islamic and Oriental art as well as European painting and numerous Lalique's creations, among other things. There are three universities nearby: the government run Universidade de Lisboa and two private ones: Universidade Nova, faculty of social sciences and Universidade Lusófona as well as various Portuguese language schools. The airport is at a mere 15 min drive.
