Overview

This estate is behind the village of Odiaxere and overlooking the valley, with fabulous views.Ten minutes by car from the historic town of Lagos, its great beaches, famous golf courses and brand new marina. The facilities in Lagos and Portimao are endless for both children and adults. From a small well kept zoo to water parks to seeing dolphins, or just lazing in the sun by the pool at home or on the beach. Sailing lessons, safaris to flying lessons.Palmares, Penina and Boa Vista are just few of the golf courses in the neighbourhood.
The villa is surrounded by citrus fruit orchards and there is a large vegetable garden. The private terraces are dotted with sunbeds and sitting areas.The pool terrace is extremely sheltered and there are two barbecues, one fixed and the other mobile.
The house is luxurious with an inhouse library with books for adults and children.The area around the house is so large and open that there are all sorts of possibilties for children to take walks and play games.
The Barragem or the dam, is five minutes by car and a great spot for picnics, long walks and fishing.
In other words, Quinta da Bravura has a perfect location.

The villa is a large estate surrounded by fruit orchards. It lies in the valley behind the village of Odiaxere, which is about 3 kilometers from the house. Despite its peaceful location it is five minutes to the nearest golf course and ten to the beaches.There is a large dam 3 km from the house and many walking trails and possibilities for picnics and safari trips. Lagos, the nearest big town is about 15 minutes by car. It is a historical town with a huge marina. The town provides all sorts of cultural activities, with all types of resturaunts, bars, cafes, cinemas. For children there are all sorts of activities on the beach and in town. Sailing, horse riding, water sports etc are all possible.

Amenities & services

The property has 4 bedrooms of which two have bathrooms en suite. All bedrooms have single beds and are well and fully furnished with built in closets. The bathrooms have baths and showers. The house is tastefully furnished with high quailty materials. There is cleaning service three times a week and there is a gardener twice a week. There are fruits and vegetables in the gardens and guests are encouraged to ask the gardener to pluck if they wish anything. The pool is 4mx12m and is cleaned on once a week on wednesdays. The linnens are changed once a week. The guests are provided with towels, sheets, covers etc However, there are no beach towels and guests are requested not to take the pool towels to the beach. There is a huge in house library and guets are welcome to borrow the books during their stay. The kitchen is well equipped. The villa has a separate laundry room with a washing machine and guests are encouraged to ask Maria(the cleaning help) to ask for operating instructions. There is a diswasher in the kitchen and guests are required to buy dishwashing soap and dishwasher tablets if they wish to run the machine. Maria is willing to baby sit for a fee incase parents want to have an evening out. The pool can be heated at an extra cost of €100- a week. They need to inform at the time of booking the quinta.
