Overview

Inserted in a natural reservation overlooking the Arade River, the house holds seven suites. Four in the old part and three in the new one. Two of the suites have single beds and five have double beds. Each suite is equipped with a wood heater, a ceiling fan, hands free shower and other amenities. There is a pool/garden furniture for each room, as well as towels and pilows for the pool.
We serve lunches and light dinners if you want to stay away from the confusion. For activities there are golf courses (Penina, Vale da Pinta, Morgado do Reguengo e Vale do Milho) at 10-15 min. de distance.
The Pool is 7x14 m, between terrasses and decks. One may use the river for náutical sports (motorized or not)or fishing. It is also the best place to practice birdwatching. Sea beaches are at 10 min by car or you can use the hotel baot taxi if available.
At Na curva do rio, everything is done for you to relax, loose track of time and fully appriciate nature. The landscape invites contemplation and meditation. Days pass as lazily as the river below.

"na Curva do Rio" is a charming Bed&Breakfast with a natural/rural inspiration. Inserted in a natural reservation, overlooking the Arade River.
With clear views over the river you are away from the world and very close to civilization. The house is a tradicional Algarvian one level house, with seven bedrooms. The property is 22 hectares with lots of space to walk or cycle. The river can be used for water sports.
