Overview

Tastefully restored Algarve B & B accommodation that oozes comfort, relaxation quality and good value. Set in 16 acres of old orange trees, Duas Quintas is centrally located to discover the beauty of the Algarve countryside and to experience a way of life that is often missed by visitors to the larger resorts.
All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, high wooden ceilings, stone features, double glazing, full length shutters, hair dryers, tea and coffee making facilities and satellite TV. Each room has a terraced area, with table and chairs.
The studio has a fully fitted kitchen and living area separated from the ensuite bedroom by an archway.
Outside there is a large, floodlit swimming pool, barbeque(with all the equipment you need to have your own barbeque) and guest fridge where cold drinks are available day and night. A table tennis table, boules court, small library and guest DVD players are all available for your use.
Breakfasts are substantial and use local fresh produce. Your Irish host family are very familiar with Portugal and are happy to use their knowledge and experience to help you in any way they can.

Duas Quintas is a 45 minute drive from Faro Airport. It is located in Central Algarve, with a twenty minute drive to fabulous beaches and coves. The nearest town is Silves, a five minute drive away; the nearest city is Portimaõ, a twelve minute drive away. The Monchique mountains are only thirty minutes drive away.

Our breakfasts at Duas Quintas are based on the belief that this is the most important meal of the day. And with the variety of local fresh produce available, you can be sure of a tasty, healthy start to your day.

Start you meal with a choice of cereals, yogurt and fresh fruit. Enjoy our cold meat platter or one of Mary’s cooked dishes. Complete your meal with fresh bread, homemade preserves, local cheeses and homemade cake.

Tea, coffee, herbal and fruit teas and our own lemon tea are all available. Fresh orange juice is provided from our orange trees. In season, why not pick your own before breakfast.

Breakfast is usually served between 8.00am and 10.00am. However, if you have an early start, we are happy to arrange an earlier time. Later breakfasts can also be catered for!
