With new improved roads Casa Abilheira makes ideal base for exploration. In just 20 minutes you can reach the popular tourist attactions on the Soutern coast or go beyond Monchique area to the West coast.

The villa offers a really relaxing holiday in picturesque Algarve countryside that is not commercialised and is full of local colour. The many beaches within easy reach are excellent and clean. The town of Monchique is only 4 km away and all day-to-day needs can be found there. With road improvements the scope of exploration extends beyond the Algarve Monchique area to the West coast.

Amenities & services

On the first floor there is a large open-plan dining/sitting room, kitchen and two bedrooms both with their own bath and shower. The double bedroom has a king-size bed ensuite facilities and the twin bedroom has its own bathroom. The living room and bedrooms lead on to a totally private partly shaded balcony, ideal for eating out, relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine and the beautiful view.

The sitting room has a wood burning stove, a TV and DVD player and a large selection of books, games and local guides. However there are not many films, so bring your favourites if you want to watch them.

The kitchen is well equipped with a modern calor gas cooker, large fridge/freezer, microwave oven, coffee maker, blender, toaster and has everythimg you need.

On the ground floor are a twin and a single bedroom, each with a bathroom or shower room.

The house sleeps a maximum of 7.

Equipment

The house is equipped to a good standard.

The kitchen has a good size calor gas cooker, a microwave and a large fridge/freezer. There is a washing machine for your use.

Cooking and water heating is by calor gas. The gas installation is outside the house and the property has been certified in accordance with Portuguese government regulations. The charges for cooking and water heating are included in the rent.

For the cooler month we have a wooden stove and electric heaters.

The telephone has a meter.
