Overview

This new, luxuriously furnished, air conditioned apartment overlooks the main pool, childrens pool and landscaped gardens. The spacious main bedroom has two single beds which can join to make a double. The large sitting room has two sofabeds which can sleep a further 2/3 persons if required. The complex also has its own snack bar,and playground. There are two South facing terraces with sliding doors for relaxing outside in the evening. There is a dedicated underground parking space with an elevator to the 1st floor. There is very easy access from Faro airport only 30 minutes away (36 Km). It is only a 10 minute drives to the 'old town' and 5 minutes from bars and restaurants. Two sandy beaches are only a 15/20 minute walk away.

Location & area

Albufeira is a very popular holiday destination offering something for everyone from the Old Town with its narrow cobbled streets, the numerous sandy beaches nearby and the cafes, bars and restaurants of 'the strip'. A unique atmosphere can be experienced in the Old Town with its white washed houses and Moorish arches around the main square. You can relax on 'Praia da Pescadores' or Fisherman's beach where they can still be seen bringing in their catches. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants along the promenade, some with roof terraces overlooking the sea. Many have outdoor seating available for a spot of 'al fresco' dining where you can relax and enjoy a glass of Portuguese wine whilst watching the world go by.



The eastern side of Albufeira is lively with busy nightspots. 'The strip' leads down to Oura beach which is a golden sandy beach. In this area , there is a huge range of restaurants and shops which are open through out the evening in the summer.



Local activities include cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, paragliding, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing,and wind-surfing.

Leisure activities and attractions;
For the more adventurous, the not to be missed 'jeep safaris' can be arranged at reception. For the whole family, Zoomarine, Slide and Splash, Krazyworld, Aqualand, Aquashow are all within a short drive away. There is karting at Almancil. Sea angling trips and boat trips can also be arranged along the coast which depart from Albufeira marina,Portimao and Vilamoura. Nearby shopping centres in the town centre are Modelo and Pingo Doce. Algarve Shopping Centre is the largest shopping centre in the area with 130 stores, 45 fashion stores, a hypermarket (Continente), 9 cinemas, 12 bowling lanes and free parking. There are also markets in all of the Algarve towns. There are many walking areas in the Algarve at Ria Formosa, Quinta do Lago, Tavira (forest), Monchique, Burgau (coastal), Silves, Sapal Reserve Nature Trail, Alte (summit), Esteveira (dunes), Penina (hills)and Benagil-Senhora (clifftop).

The apartment is air-conditioned with linen and towels provided. The kitchen has a 4 ring stove, clothes dryer, dish washer,fridge, freezer, grill, hob, microwave, oven, and washing machine. The living room has seating for 5 people and a dining area with seating for 6 people. The main bathroom has a toilet, bidet, bath and overhead shower. There is a vanity unit with mirror and cabinet storage space underneath.

The apartment can sleep a maximum of 5 people. In the main bedroom there are two single beds which can be combined to form a double bed. The room is air-conditioned. There is a built in wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, mirror, chair, and dressing table. Sliding patio doors lead out onto a balcony. In the living room a 3 seater sofa-bed can be used to sleep 2 additional persons or children if required. There is also a 2 seater sofa-bed which can be used to sleep 1 additional person or child if required. The main living room is air-conditioned.

For entertainment there is satellite TV and a DVD player provided. Outside facilities include a basement garage, landscaped gardens, street parking, and two balconies. There is an outdoor pool and a children's pool. It is a low allergen environment.

It is non smoking only, and pets are not allowed. It is also suitable for the elderly or infirm, and the apartment is wheelchair accessible.
There is also an outside table and four chairs on the balcony. There is also a breakfast table and four chairs in the kitchen if additional dining space is required. A central vacuuming facility is provided as well as an iron and ironing board. Children's high chairs and cot are available on request. Towels and linen will be changed on a weekly basis.

Guests are requested to use their own pool and beach towels. However a small number of beach towels are provided for the use of guests. There is a designated basement parking space (marked 1E) which will keep a car cool during the day. There is a lift operating from the basement car park up to the first floor. Just below the apartment is a large lawn area next to the main pool of the complex. A heated indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna are available at the nearby Hotel Real Bellavista.
