Overview

A cozy apartment in the heart of Kazimierz, the historic former Jewish district of Krakow. From both the kitchen and the bedroom there are splendid views into the courtyard and beyond to the Royal Castle Wawel. Located on quiet side street, you are just a minute's walk away from Szeroka street, the old, historic core of Jewish Kazimierz where three synagogues and the oldest surviving Jewish cemetery in Poland are preserved. Also only a minute away is Plac Nowy, the bohemian heart of Kazimierz, with the best night life in Krakow. This is the place where not only tourists come to sample exotic flavoured vodkas, but where most locals and artists come to relax and spend their evenings.
The apartment can comfortably sleep two and there is an additional convertible sofa that pulls out into a large bed for those on a tight budget who don't mind sacrificing a little privacy. There is a small, efficient kitchen with a dining area for two. The toilet is located next to the bedroom for your convenience, but the bathroom is upstairs to conserve space. All practical cooking and kitchen appliances are available for those who wish to prepare their meals at home and there is a home stereo system for your listening pleasure. The studio is equipped with the computer with broadband internet connection. For rainy evenings there is a collection of DVD films.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
