Savor the breathtaking panorama of Aurland Fjord's glassy mountain reflections in an idyllic apartment located below the Otternes farm between Flam (the well-known village of the Norway in a Nutshell experience) and Aurland. With kitchen/dining/living area with a fireplace on ground floor, this apartment sleeps 5 to 6* (double beds). The cozy home-like surroundings encourage the relaxation of watching cruise ships from the beautiful banks of the fjord, taking a dip in the chilly water, or enjoying a trip in your own row boat.
The equipped kitchen/dining area gives you the option of meal preparation, or you can dine at a local outdoor cafe and observe the many international visitors to this popular destination.
The fantastic natural setting of mountains, waterfalls, and breathtaking panoramas invites nature lovers to hike the local trails, picnic on a lush green mountainside, fish in the fjord or salmon fish in the river, rent a bicycle or kayak or simply relax. Daily excursions to many locations (i.e. Voss, Bergen, Lardal, Flam Valley, Naroyfjord) within driving distance of Flam give variety to the week's experience.

If you are coming from FlÃ¥m center, drive about 4 km (2 ½ miles) on E 16 toward Aurland. After passing the turnoff to Otternes on the right, take the first turn to the left by wooden structure marked
Boen. Your destination is the last building on the left, a large three-story timber structure with a slate roof.



If you are coming from Aurland, drive about 4 km (2 ½ miles) toward Flam. It is the first building after the Otternes sign on the right.
