Overview

Spacious holiday home, situated in the polder. You have got a fantastic view over the meadows and the dunes of Camperduin. Your holiday home is part of a characteristic farm house. The beach is a fifteen-minutes walk away and the cosy village Groet twenty minutes. There you also find some nice restaurants. Your holiday home is situated in the front side of the farmer house. The owners live at the backside. In this same farmer house you also find the holiday apartment 'De Eg'. On the same ground the detached holiday house 'De Zeis' is situated. This spot is perfect for one who loves the nature. In the meadows are cows, sheep and horses and on the ground you find some ducks. The owners have got a sweet sheep dog, which loves other animals. You are allowed to bring your own dog on holiday. Because of the other animals we ask you not to bring more than just one dog. On the ground floor you find a living room with a cosy sitting area where you can watch tv and dvd. It borders to the open kitchen. One double room is situated on the ground floor, as well as one bathroom, which includes a bath and a shower. Through some steep stairs you reach the first floor. There you find two two-bedded rooms, one double room and one smaller bathroom with shower.

Location & area

The contrasts in local flora and fauna are startling. The best places to study them are Schoorl, Groet and Camperduin. The villages lie like a ribbon along the edge of the Schoorlse Duinen National Park. The district is distinguished by a varied overgrowth, a number of dune streams, kilometres of cycling and hiking paths and three high “climbing” dunes. Where the range of dunes stops, the Hondsbos Sea Defence starts with the de Putten bird sanctuary at its foot. Schoorl has lots to offer. There are nice walking paths in the extensive dune and forest area behind the “climbing dune” in Schoorl.
