Overview

This recently renovated apartment, called Brederode, is situated on the second floor of a lovely house in ‘Amsterdam Oud-West’ (Old West), right around the corner of the ‘Vondelpark’. The Vondelpark is without doubt the most famous and busiest park in Amsterdam. Ideal for taking a walk, riding a bike, skating or just to go for a picnic and watch the people, from all walks of live, go by. You will never be bored in this park, named after the Dutch poet and drama writer Joost van den Vondel, who’s statue is still present. Since 1996 the Vondelpark is a Dutch national monument and certainly worthwhile a visit. Because of its location, the apartment is ideal for couples who want a nice and peaceful holiday but want to enjoy the pleasures of living close to the city centre at the same time. If you feel like going out, the Leidseplein is within walking distance. Here you find theatres, bars, restaurants, the cinema and the pop temples Paradiso and the Melkweg.



Brederode is a welcoming light apartment, sleeping two and a baby. There is a babycot available, contact our helpdesk for this option. Throughout this stylish apartment you see the combination of antiques and modern furniture. The beautiful wooden floorboards and the wonderfully decorated rooms make it a true home away from home. In the large living room you find a seating area with comfortable seats, a dining table seating four and a cute office area with access to the internet. There is a TV, and a video player which comes with a nice collection of films. From the separate kitchen and the living area, with its attractive French doors, you enter the balcony. The balcony is at the back of the house and is therefore a nice and quite place where you can relax after a busy day. The master bedroom is spacious and furnished with a comfortable double bed and a small dressing table with a magnificent mirror above it. The modern bathroom offers a washbasin and a shower.
