Overview
This beautiful apartment is situated on a peninsula in Amsterdam's Eastern Docklands, just outside the sparkling city centre. The Dockland area consists of several new and recently restyled man-made islands interconnected by bridges. Each of the smaller islands and peninsulas has a unique character. The KNSM-eiland, on which this wonderful apartment is located, features classic buildings with a twist. Some even call it a laboratory in the field of urban development and architecture. Bus number 42 takes you from and to Central Station. It is also possible to walk to the free ferry, which brings you in a few minutes to Amsterdam Central station and the city centre. On this peninsula you find a number of unique boutiques like Polï's Potten selling bright home and garden accessories, Dominio, specialised in Italian clothes, furniture, and house ware and several interesting restaurants. The area's best restaurant is "Voorbij het einde". The area's most famous restaurant is Fifteen, of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver which is located in a huge warehouse on the waterfront. There are also several restaurants housed in boats like Odessa and Einde van de Wereld (End of the World) which are worth a visit.
On the third floor of one of the Docklands large buildings you find this stylishly decorated apartment, sleeping four. From the hallway you enter the bright sitting room with modern furniture. There is a comfortable couch, a couple of design chairs, a digital television, a DVD-player and an X-box. There's also a desk with a PC with access to the internet. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can make use of the washing machine. The kitchen gives access to the sunny balcony, where you can sit and relax after a busy day. A small corridor leads you from the kitchen to the bathroom with bath, toilet and washbasin and two bedrooms with each a double bed. Overall the house breathes a very cosy atmosphere with eye for detail.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
