Overview
In a sweet and typical house from just after the golden area of Amsterdam, we want to offer you a really comfortable stay.
St Jacobsstraat and the house are very quiet. So if you want to relax after a full day or a long night, this is the place to be.
A rich breakfast will be served in your room. You have all the famous places, neighborhoods, museums and nightlife at hand. Dam square, Beurs van Berlage, the famous Jordaan area, Anne Frank's House, Red-light zone it's only 3 minutes walking. With free WiFi connection, all tourist information available and Central Station on the corner you have all ingredients to discover the best that Amsterdam has to offer.
On the second floor of the house, there are two no smoking double rooms. The rooms are high and light with the authentic rafters.
These 2 rooms shared our luxurious bathroom with Hydro Massageand Steam sauna Shower.
We speak English, Italian, German and Dutch.

How to come to us from Airport Schiphol:
Take the train to Amsterdam Central Station.
There is also a Schiphol Hotel Shuttle bus. Ask for the Avenue Hotel and you will be taken exactly to the corner of our street.
By foot :
Outside Central Station go to the right and walk by the taxi stand.
Before the bike parking, go to the left, across the bridge.
At the traffic lights keep going straight and you will enter in a big street: Martelaarsgracht.
Walking down this street, after 100 meters it will split in two parallel streets.
Take the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, after 250 meters on your left you will see Sint Jacobsstraat.
By tram from Central Station:
Tram lines 1, 2 and 5. Take the second stop, it's called Nieuwezijds Kolk

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
