It�s right in the midst of the �quartier culinary� of Amsterdam. The apartment is on canal level (so no stairs to walk) and has been renovated completely and was finished in December 2006. Throughout the apartment all kinds of historical cultural elements have been brought into view so you truly dwell into the history of this old house which was build in 1715. The beams and the walls tell their story and the apartment even features an authentic escape hatch that has saved the lives of 3 Jewish people during the Second World War. General Info: The apartment is over 40 square meters, fully furnished and self contained. It has a double bed, living room, dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen cable TV with DVD, stereo and a washing machine. The bathroom has a big shower, toilet and a big bath for two people. Wireless and cable internet and espresso are inclusive. We provide bed linen and towels. Cleaning on arrival and once a week is included in the price. For more cleaning we charge an extra fee. It is necessary to arrange this in advance.
