Overview
This stylishly decorated studio is located in a quiet area in Amsterdam West but very close to the lively Jordaan with many bars, restaurants and boutiques. The comfortable and bright apartment is situated on the third floor of a typical Dutch merchants' house. To get to know Amsterdam the Dutch way, the owner of this accommodation offers you a one day free bike hire. The Anne Frank house is only 800 meters away and the Flower Market and the Westerkerk are both within walking distance. If you need some last minute food shopping, the night shop is right on your doorstep.
This spacious studio is ideal for couples taking a romantic holiday break in Amsterdam. However an extra (double) bed can be put in the sitting area, to make the place fit for small groups of friends or families too. The large L-shaped room offers on the one side a bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a seating area with a couch and two armchairs. In the middle you find the large dining table with modern chairs and an antique bench. The table can also be used for reading or to use the PC with free access to the internet. There is an extended collection of books which the guests are free to borrow during their stay. The fully equipped kitchen and a cosy balcony are situated in the back of the apartment. In the summer time it's possible to have a BBQ and a glass of wine on your balcony.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
