Overview
Casa Jecentho is situated in the heart of Malta's historic Three Cities.
Cospicua is known to the Maltese as Bormla (Lord's Meadow) and is
the largest of the Three Cities.
This 16 Century Maltese townhouse is part of what was once a large home. The coat of arms is stands above the front door.
It has since been divided into several smaller houses. Casa Jecentho was the centre part of this house, The imposing oak doors and sculpted doorways a reminder of another age.
There are five levels to the house adjoined by a magnificent spiral stone staircase with intricate ironwork.
From the roof terrace there are unobstructed views of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, the most famous church in Cospicua, and Grand Harbour.
The kitchen/living, bedroom and entrance hall are each on a separate level and the vaulted cellar has been converted into a modern bathroom.
