Guests are welcomed in a stone house restored in genuine Tuscan style, which can comfortably sleeping seven people, or in our farmhouse apartment situated in the main house, sleeping 4 people.The villa is also divisible with the possibility of renting just the first two floors as an apartment for 4 in mid and low season.Stunning 180'from the houses and pool with charming gardens and barbecue to enjoy wining and dining "en plein air" during the summer evenings. Flowers and fruit, organic of course, accompany your arrival,and to make your holiday really memorable, there is a swimming pool and barbecue overlooking the valley of the River Magra Quality horses are also available for riders.Annabel, one of your hosts and farm proprietor, organises weekly Painting Holidays and individual sessions for all levels.

Location & area

Ca' Sola is on the most interesting side of the Lunigiana, known as the land of one hundred castles. In the area close to the farm many megalitic stone statues were discovered, which are now in the Pontremoli Museum. Crossed by the famous pilgrim road, the Francigena Way, many charming villages and hamlets were built.

The coast is only 35km from the farm; Portovenere, Lerici and San Terenzo, small fishing villages, frequented by the English poets Byron and Shelley are easy to reach, as are the Cinque Terre, five typically Ligurian fishing towns built on a sheer-drop coastline. Further south you will find the wonderful sandy beaches of the Apuan-Versilian Coast.
