Overview

The apartment is in a typical alpine chalet with 17 others and has uninterrupted views of the mountains and forests. It has lots of exposed wood beams and the floors are fully tiled. The main room is large with a very cosy log fire and is equipped with sat TV, DVD, CD, and music system .this room has a large sofa that converts to a very comfy double bed. The French windows lead to the south facing balcony which is equipped with sun beds and chairs. The main bedroom has a king size double bed and is furnished in solid pine and has exposed beams and a French window leading to the balcony. The second bedroom has adult size very substantial bunk beds again with solid pine furnishings. In the living room alcove is a fully equipped kitchen with 4 hobs and full oven also fridge, toaster and electric kettle. The shower room is fully tiled and has a washing machine. The whole apartment is fully centrally heated, double glazed and shuttered. Ironing facilities and powerful hair dryer are provided. Under the chalet are the garages and mine is very large so you can store skis, mountain bikes and the car quite easily.

Location & area

The property is on the south side of the village approx 250 metres from the shops and bars in the village square. It is in between the two huge national parks of the Adamello and Stelvio with its many 3500 metre mountains and unspoilt terrain. Access to this area is outside my property as is the large new linked ski area of Temu/Ponte D Legno with Passo Tonale giving a total of 135 kms of skiing and one of if not the best lift system in the alps. The cross country ski trail starts in our village and is approx 400 metres away. There is an indoor sports centre 9 kms away in Ponte D Legno with tennis football etc and across the road from here is the new indoor swimming pool/sauna. Also in this area is one of the highest golf courses in Europe and is open only from June to September. The whole area is a walkers/hikers paradise with marked trails for all abilities and coupled with the outstanding views is also ideal for photographers artists etc. Fishing is also available in the mountain streams and alpine lakes as well as in the larger lakes lower down the valley. In the summer time there are many places with outdoor swimming pools and water parks and water sports of all kinds in Lake Iseo, Como and Garda as well as the new theme park near Lake Garda called Garda land.
