Overview

Our charming country house lies in a 185-acre organic farm in sight of Urbino (in northern Le Marche region / The Marches) nestling in a landscape of gentle, rolling hills, rich in wild flora and fauna. Always keeping in mind the philosophy that "one should tread lightly on the earth" we grow organically our own wheat, fruits and vegetables and raise our cattle, pigs and poultry with 100% natural feed; from our fresh organic produce we make our own bread and pasta, jams, wine and traditional home cooking. In Autumn we also have truffles from our woods.
The home is fitted with solar collectors and the heating system is run using renewable energy.
Our first priority is the comfort of our guests: the smiling service and high standards of both food and accomodation will best suit persons seeking superior quality in an elegant and tranquil setting, the perfect location for exploring the delights of Central Italy and many famous Medieval and Renaissance towns, both in Montefeltro (Northern Le Marche) and in nearby Tuscany and Umbria).
Guests may swim in our pool, enjoying sweeping views of the landscape.
Our horses are at our guests' disposal for lessons and walks in the countryside

We speak good English and Spanish and some French and German.

Location & area

Pesaro and Urbino is the northernmost province in the Marche region, and as such representing a strategic crossroads from the touristic point of view. Situated between the Adriatic sea and the Apennine mountains in direct contact with Romagna, Tuscany and Umbria, it is the ideal base from where to visit and explore the territories of central Italy, of which it is a prime example. One of the striking aspects of the area is the amazing variety of colours displayed by the changing seasons, a tuneful composition that emanates from the green of the wooded hills to the blue of the sea, firing emotions like only nature can. As does the long coastline with its gentry sloping beaches nestling against a backcloth of hills surmounted by ancient hilltowns and castles. History and nature blend to become one and the same. Urbino still preserves the atmosphere of the ideal Italian Renaissance town set in the territory of Montefeltro, an area rich in castles and ruins standing on impervious crags, sanctuaries and churches rising out of open fields or nestling on the edges of woods, stately homes and solemn ducal palaces.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
