From Tre Cancelle, Itri is only a few minutes by car, a small historic township, nestling in the foothills of the Aurunci Mountains and part of the Aurunci National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Itri has a variety of small shops, restaurants and bars. An excellent weekly market is held every Friday.

It is a short drive to the Riviera di Ulisse, and beautiful Sperlonga with its golden, sandy beaches. Its sparkling, clear waters have been awarded the prestigious European Blue Flag for several years.

From here you can enjoy splendid views of the woods, olive groves and mountain scenery, catch a glimpse of the sparkling sea in the distance, and marvel at the magnificent sunsets.

There are regular flights to Rome (Ciampino / Fiumicino) and to Naples (Capodichino).

Most budget carriers use Ciampino. Many of our visitors have found this very convenient as it is a smaller airport, and to the south of the city.

It is advisable to hire a car for the duration of your stay, discounted car hire is offered by most airlines, via the internet or available from the airport or locally.

However, good public transport links are available from Ciampino to Itri, via Rome Termini train station.

Alternatively we can arrange to meet / drop off passengers at the airport (up to 4 people) at an extra cost.

Transport can also be arranged to take you locally to the beach, to the train station or to some local destinations.
