The kitchen faces the sea and has a lovely panoramic view of the ocean, a small fishing harbor, and the Utvegio Castle. Located in what was formerly a fishing village, this apartment sits in what is now one of the most charming and romantic neighborhoods on the outskirts of Palermo, just a 10 minute drive from the center of town. There is still a small harbor for fishing, and the apartment enjoys easy access to the sea. The Palermo airport is a thirty-minute drive, and it takes just five minutes to reach the beautiful beach of Mondello. As the apartment is located in a village, there are restaurants featuring great local seafood specialties , and shops within walking distance. On the near by piazza you will find an excellent pizzeria, a cafe. post office, bank , cinema, hospital and grocery store . A car is suggested for exploring surrounding destinations such as Mondello, Monreale, Segesta, Erice, the wonderful Madonie mountains , Trapani, Agrigento, Cefalu, Solunto, Piazza Armerina, and Caltagirone for itճ famous ceramics .
