Overview

Entrance through a gate that leads to the inner courtyard of the Baglio, from where you have access to the different units. The Baglio is built on two levels, ground floor and first floor. The ground floor is composed of a big living room, which features an arc that separates it from the kitchen. Two large windows look out onto the inner courtyard, which has characteristic antique paving stones, the water well and the beautiful flora, all completed with a magnificent sea view. You reach the first floor by a characteristic steps decorated with " Sicilian Maioliche (ceramics)", where you have three double bedrooms with queen size bed, two of them with balcony. The fourth bedroom has twin beds. There are two bathrooms with shower.There is also one laundry room. The sleeping area and the rooms are all light and spacious with traditional ceilings.

This lovely country house is a typical Sicilian construction (old farmyard), located in Scopello, just 1 km from the old Tonnara (Tuna fishery) and the Faraglioni that characterize the local coastline. Although the house has been completely renovated,it still keeps the traditional characteristics of the "Baglio", a place where families lived and worked. The original construction of the "Baglio Buccellato", goes back to the beginning of 1900s. Today it has been transformed into an elegant residence which can host up to 8 people. The "Baglio" is completely in harmony with the surrounding territory, characterized by the Mediterranean vegetation and the amazing sea view.Its location makes it convenient to visit various places of interest like the nature Reserve"Lo Zingaro" at Scopello, sightseeing and archeological sites such as Palermo, Segesta, Erice, Selinunte, Marsala, Agrigento. The nearest town is Castellammare Del Golfo,approx.5 km,which has all necessary amenities.
