Il MONASTERO is a new luxury APARTMENT IN A CONVERTED MONASTERY. The Medieval town of Sant Angelo is ideally placed for you to
discover le marche. It shares a panoramic view with the 13th century church of San Nicola of the Marche landscape and the Sibillini Mountains.

A part of the Monastery has recently been refurbished and converted into apartments. Come and enjoy the penthouse which includes all home comforts and spectacular views of Le Marche in the perfect location for a perfect getaway.

The apartment accommodates 4 people, and has central heating throughout. It has two bedrooms, both with views of the countryside, bathroom with bath and shower, and a well equiped kitchen with table for 4 and large sofa in the living area. We have supplied a library of books, CD's and tourist information.

Location & area

SantAngelo in Pontano is, like many of its neighbours, perched on a hill top, at 473m. It has a cafe, two restaurants, a third a short drive away, a bank with cashpoint, butcher, baker, fruit & veg, a small supermarket and a newsagent.Il Monastero is situated in an area of incredible natural beauty, close to the majestic Sibillini Mountain range and National Park which provides the most breath-taking scenery in central Italy. There are 20 peaks over 2000m. and several ski resorts operate through the winter months. The whole area is a walkers paradise with mountain trails, guided walks and stunning displays of wild flowers in the spring. Le Marche (pronounced markay) is rich in historic, artistic and cultural heritage, which remains largely intact. Le Marche, unlike its neighbours Umbria and Tuscany, is relatively undiscovered and still unspoilt by tourism. The region, away from the coast, is rural and very little English is spoken, but the locals are welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially if you speak a few words of Italian. The Adriatic coast, 45 minutes by car, has beautiful white sandy beaches with excellent child-friendly swimming and watersports.

The living room has a big, comfortable L-shaped sofa, just right for relaxing after a day exploring the region. A CD/cassette unit, CD's, books and tourist brochures are supplied, along with information on the local shops and restaurants.



A courtyard within the Monastery walls has a table and chairs, perfect for al fresco drinks, and a lookout point, great for a picnic, is a short walk, with 360 degree views it overlooks the bell tower
