Overview
The Parco della Musica apartment is located in the residential area of Flaminio at the bottom of one of the most beautiful Rome districts, Parioli. The location means that in just 4 tram (tram number 2 with special lane) stops, you can discover the Piazza del popolo, via del Corso, the Spanish steps and all the historical centre can be taken in, all in only a 10 minute walking.
The one bedroom apartment is ideal for two to four guests and a great family places as well. It was resort back in July 2006 and offers guests an entrance hall, big living room with library and large sofa which pulls down to create another double bed. There is also a new and fully equipped kitchenette on the other side of the apartment along with a large bedroom with a big wardrobe and new bathroom featuring a shower. There is a large window that gives guests a view of the street and allows the apartment to be filled with ample natural light.
Accommodation
Parco della Musica apartment offers guests a large apartment with a fair sized bedroom that is equipped with a large wardrobe. The room is styled with cream coloured walls and wooden flooring with a few spot lights handily positioned above the bed which is a large soft one with colourful bed linen. The apartment also offers a newly fitted bathroom with shower and toilet, heated towel rail and the washing machine is housed there also. There is a large living room with large pull down cream sofa that becomes a double bed, there is also another matching sofa and wooden table and chairs in the room as well as a library book case. The room is styled in a modern way with wooden flooring and white walls and furnishings; there is also a large window that fills the room with natural light. The newly fitted kitchenette offers guests a cooker with hobs and comes with all the cutlery and cook wares provided.
How to get here
By Plane
From Fiumicino Leonardo Da Vinci Airport (35km) take the direct train "Leonardo Express" to Termini Railway Station. Trains run every 25 minutes and take about the same time to get to Termini. Once at Termini railway station follow the instructions below.
From Ciampino Airport (30km) take the shuttle bus to Termini Railways Station or a bus to Anagnina, the last stop of metro line A, then the metro until Termini railways station stop. Once at Termini railway station follow the instructions below.

There will be the driver waiting for Yuo at the arrivals with Your name on a paper, he will help You in carreing your baggage and in 25 minutes you are at the apartment. If , as it often happens , you might leave something in the car the driver will bring you back because I personally know all the members of this team and I have all their mobile phones. This is not possible with a taxi, You have a better service ( no wasting time waiting for a taxi maybe being stuck in a queue for 20 min in a hot or cold temperature) at the same price.
By Train
From Termini Railway Station
By bus No. 910 it takes about 20 minutes and it takes you near the apartment, take it from piazza dei Cinquecento, platform H. Get off at the stop Vignola, in viale del Vignola. Start to get ready to leave the bus after you have passed the Auditorium Parco della Musica on the left (it looks like big armadillos) and Palazzetto dello Sport on the right (it looks like a flying saucer). From the stop walk left and take Via Raffaele Stern till you reach Lungotevere Flaminio, turn left and walk for a few metres and the apartment is on the left at Via Vasari 6
By underground line A + tram No. 2 It also takes about 20 minutes. Go down in the underground and take metro line A, direction Battistini, and get out at Flaminio stop. Go up to the surface and in Piazzale Flaminio take tram No. 2. Get off at the 3rd stop in Piazzale Manila: there is an Esso petrol station on your left and Stadio Flaminio on your right. Walk back until the traffic lights. Turn right in the direction of the buildings in via Flaminia. Turn right in via Flaminia and left in viale del Vignola, walk up till Via Raffaele Stern and turn left and follow that up to Lungotevere Flaminio, turn left and walk for a few metres and the apartment is on the left at Via Vasari 6
By Car
From G.R.A., the "ring" around Rome, the easiest way is to go out from exit No. 6 "Roma Centro Flaminio". There are two exits No. 6: take that one that goes towards the centre of Rome, direction Flaminio, Corso Francia. Go always straight, cross Ponte Flaminio, a white marble bridge with high lighthouses and eagles statues, cross Corso Francia above the Olympic Village with the Auditorium Parco della Musica on your left and turn right with Stadio Flaminio on your right. Then straight, direction Roma Centro and turn right at the end on Lungotevere Flaminio, the building is a few metres down on the right.
