Chez Raz is an italian/scottish family-run holiday accomodation in a country villa near the town of Velletri in the Castelli Romani hills.With its panoramic views, large private garden and swimming pool, Chez Raz is the perfect location for a secluded and relaxing country break. The villa is well placed for trips to local lakes, mountains, and some of the best beaches on the Lazio coastline. For sightseeing in Rome, a convenient train runs regularly from the local station to the centre of the city.Chez Raz can offer B&B or self-catering accommodation options in comfortable and tastefully furnished accomodation for up to 10 people. IF YOU ARE A SMALL PARTY (UP TO 3 PEOPLE) YOU MIGHT WISH TO CONSIDER RENTING THE MINI-APARTMENT (FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM, BEDROOM AND EN-SUITE BATHROOM).The villa is particularly suited to family get-togethers and the hosts can provide catering on request. The villa is an easy 20 km drive from Ciampino airport, where most of the European low-cost flights arrive (including Ryanair and Easyjet), and just 45 kilometres from the centre of Rome.If you would like to organize a special meal or party then your hosts will be glad to cater for your event.Guests are free to use the garden, which offers plenty of shady spots, sun-loungers and a swimming pool. There are also garden games for the kids and a table football.A barbecue is also available for guests if you wish to prepare your own meal at the villa in the evenings.LOCAL ACTIVITIES:ROME: Rome can be reached by train in 55 minutes. Chez Raz provide a pick-up service to and from the local station.HILLS, TRECKING & HILLTOP TOWNS: Chez Raz is very close to Monte Artimisio and the Lepini hills, which are ideal for trecking. Characteristic hilltop towns such as Cori and Sermoneta, are also within close range.BEACHES: Some of the best beaches on the Lazio coastline can be reached within 30 minutes from Chez Raz. - You can book a meal at Chez Raz's, the cost vary from 18 to 28 Euros, depending on how many courses. The meal is home-made and when possible the ingredients come from our garden, or from the local fruit market. Paola would be happy to cater for a special occasion (e.g. a birthday party).

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
