Overview

Luxury apartment with a big terrace and pool in Basilicata that lies next to the Ionian see in Basilicata. This area is full of cultural heritage from the Magnia Craecia and the region is right now under great development since it up to now has been relatively unknown and unexploited, even for Italians. By a distance of some kilometres you can find e.g. golf courses, the famous town Matera (known to be one of the oldest towns in the world and the film set by Mel Gibson, "The passion of Christ") and Metaponto. The whole area has for centuries been occupiewd by the Greeks and by this is full of archaeological places and museums. The apartment is situated in Marina di Pisticci that is known for its crystal clear see, the long beaches and its antique traditions.

Location & area

From the apartment you are close to everything necessary, restaurants, bars and supermarket are of a distance of 50 meters on the small "piazza" of Borgo San Basilio. The whole area is full of cosy and small restaurants situated on the countryside where you will find the local cuisine. The beach is of a walking distance of about 15 minutes but there exists also opportunities to go by a small bus (included in the prize). The old town, Pisticci, 20 km away, is very beutiful and situated on top of one of the high hills in the area. In the region there are so many things to see, like the small villages where almost no tourist has been before. This is the perfect place for vacation and it doesn't matter if you want a quit or active one, since you will find what you are looking for.
