Overview

La Fatorria is a peaceful location, set in the heart of Tuscany, whcih means that you really can sit back and relax... yet close enough to Pescia town to walk in under 10 minutes and enjoy the local tratoria, cafes and bars.

Our Chestnut House is the original farm building with a large open space housing your King Size Bed, wood burning stove and a wonderful view across the olive groves and mountains.

There is also the traditional pizza oven set to the back of the chestnut house, where you can cook lots of dishes including pizza!

At La Fatorria we grow lots of our own vegetables and salads and the energy is home grown too, with solar electricity, hot water and our own well! Don't worry though the water is pumped through to the kitchen sink - you don't have to collect it!

As the sun shines for most of the year the kitchen and cooking facilities are outside, together with your solar shower (beautiful to shower under the stars) and compost toilet.

Location & area

Pescia is in the heart of Tuscanny and La Fatorria is set in 3 acres of olive groves. Yet only a 10 minute walk from Pescia town.

The local train station, which you can also walk to can take you to Pisa, Lucca and Firenze all in under an hour. The trains in Italy are great value and Firenze is around 8 euros return!

There are literally hundreds of scenic walks for you to enjoy or you can hire bikes locally and set off further afield exploring the fabulous tuscan countryside.
