Overview

The Thousand Suns site, originally called Magionaccia, was classified in 1647 by the Historical Archives of the Church as an imposing house standing at the centre of the property featuring one hundred olive trees estimated to be about 300 years old. The property covers an area of 1 hectare within a wildlife and historical reserve. Its privileged position, with a 360-degree panorama, ensures exposure to the sun from sunrise to sunset, when the sun-light is reflected on the stone of the country house. The "Casale MilleSoli" was completely renovated in 2008, retaining intact the characteristics of the site and the original materials . It is made up of a central body, and a smaller side structure , joined together by a small alley (called Vicolo del Bacio/alley of the kiss) of a medieval character. The Bed & Breakfast is set up on two independent levels: the ground floor, of about 100 square metres, includes the reception area as well as a reading corner , dining room, a sitting area and a kitchen. Our guests reach the first floor via an internal staircase, where they can admire a wellâ€lit corridor with exposed beams .This floor consists of three guest rooms. In the adjacent wood there are several paths for short or long walks to enjoy the countryside or relax in the magnificent three-hundred year old olive grove .
