Overview

After driving through electrically commanded gates from the road, you enter an entrance hall leading to the other rooms. In the living / dining room with doors on to the garden behind the villa where the pool is, there is a fireplace and TV.
The kitchen is equipped with gas hobs and electric oven, fridge with separate freezer and also has a door leading to the garden. Off the kitchen there is a small utility room with a washing machine.
There is one double bedroom with French window into garden, one twin bedroom and one bedroom with bunk beds. One bathroom with bathtub and hand shower, WC, washbasin, etc., and a shower room with WC,washbasin, etc La Capannina has its own private swimming pool (4 m x 7 m) and enclosed car park.

Location & area

La Capannina is in a quiet area, but only about 200 metres from the little town of S. Agata where you can find the nearest bus stop, restaurants, banks, chemist’s, shops, and other amenities. The larger, and well-known town of Sorrento is about 10 km from La Capannina, and from here there are ferry boats and hydrofoils to Naples, Capri, Ischia, Amalfi and Positano. The nearest railway station (Circumvesuviana line to Pompeii, Naples) is also in Sorrento. The nearest beach is the pebble beach of Marina del Cantone (8 km), below the village of Nerano.

Positano is about 14 km away from La Capannina. The distance to Naples is 55 km. A car is not absolutely necessary if you are staying in this villa. There is a frequent and regular SITA bus service, down to Sorrento as well as to Positano and Amalfi.
