Overview

It is a top floor apartment that consists of two levels situated in a Villa with four apartments immerse into a splendid pinewood right by the sea, not so far from Amalfi coast.
On the level you find a spacious open planned dining and lounge room, the kitchen and a bathroom. From the lounge room you can access the marvellous terrace, which gives you an uninterrupted view of Golfo di Policastro where you can enjoy your meals. On the top level you will find a bathroom with a shower and two bedrooms, one master and the other with two single beds that can be made into a double if required.One more extra bed is available if you are a party of five people.

Location & area

Basilicata is an undiscovered and unspoilt region situated between Campania, Calabria and Puglia. Stunning coastlines, fishing villages, rugged mountains and green valleys are only a few of the attractions on offer. Maratea sits on the best of the coastline and benefits from sandy coves and crystal clear water. The town consists of two distinct parts. A small fishing village and harbour nestle below a collection of colourful houses, restaurants and bars. Overlooking all this is Belvedere point on which stands a huge marble statue of Christ that may remind you Rio de Janeiro. The old town makes up the second area, perched on the hillside, with narrow streets, charming squares and a mix of shops to suit all tastes.

The Certosa (Charterhouse) at Padula is worth a visit. A stunning monastery in a fantastic setting. (1h driving)

Greek acropolis in Velia (Ascea now), Rose Door there.... (1h 20min driving or 45 min by train)

Paestum has the best preserved Greek temples in Italy. (1h 30min driving or by train)

Naples and the sights of the Amalfi coast – Sorrento, Ischia, Capri, Amalfi, Herculaneum, Pompeii, Vesuvius. (from 2h to 3h driving or by train)

The largest show cave in Europe can be found at Pertosa – take the POLLA turn off on A3. (1h 20min driving)
