Overview
Set in over four acres of terraced gardens and ancient olive groves there is plenty of space for guests to relax and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of medieval towns on hilltops, patchwork fields of green and gold, Monte Conero and the Adriatic Sea.
The two beautiful character and stylishly individually designed guest rooms are situated on the ground floor of the house and have their own independent entrances.
The house is believed to be 300/400 years old and retains many original features such as oak beamed and handmade tiled ceilings and internal stone walls. Built in local stone with thick castle like walls it is cool and refreshing in summer and warm and cosy in winter. It has been lovingly restored and is furnished with a selection of paintings and antiques to complement the age of the house.
You are assured of a very warm welcome, fine hospitality, a tranquil ambience and an opportunity to experience the real Italian lifestyle - la dolce vita!
Il sorger del sole is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful unspoilt Marche area and the cities of Rome, Florence, Bologna, Siena, Gubbio, Perugia and Assisi.

Il sorger del sole is situated around 30 minutes drive from Ancona International Airport and 40 minutes from Fabriano mainline train station and 15 minutes from the mainline bus station at Macerata. Situated on a tranquil hillside between the villages of Avenale and Troviggiano. Airport, bus and train pick ups available at extra cost. Courtesy car service to local bus which runs to Macerata and Cingoli.

Sunflowers is a delightful room with a lovely relaxing ambience and is popular with honeymooners and romantics. It has an original oak beamed and tiled ceiling, part exposed stone walls and brick floor. The delightful en-suite shower room has original beamed and tiled celing and marble topped vanity unit with mirror and lights, WC, bidet and walk in shower cubicle. Inside seating area with blue leather sofa and double entrance doors leading to sunny courtyard with beautiful panoramic views. Furnished with TV/DVD player, fridge, CD/hi-fi stereo system, bathrobes and hairdryer. Room rate includes 75cl white & red wine, 66cl beer, 1 litre mineral water and milk, a deily supply of tea and coffee, shower gel and shampoo.
Roses accommodation is accessed through a privatecovered wooden portico with grapes hanging from the vine and consists of a charming bedroom with seating area which has a lovely antique feel and has lots of original character features such as original stone walls, inset shelving with lights and oak beamed and tiled ceiling. Private spacious dressing/shower room with WC and wash hand basin with oak beamed and tiled ceiling, original stone walls and stone floor. The double glass entrance doors have views of the olive groves, garden and distant Macerata and the courtyard with beautiful panoramic views. Furnished with fridge, TV, bathrobes and hairdryer. Room rate includes everything as described in Sunflowers details above.
Our Mediterranean breakfast is served from 7.00am until 11.00am.
Guest rooms are cleaned and re-stocked daily and towels and bed linen are changed regularly. Beach towels are provided free-of charge in the summer months. Free parking in our gated courtyard. 24 hour check-in.
