In a few short minutes, you’ve walked or cycled into the elegant historic centre of Lucca with its stunning churches + endless, fascinating, winding, traffic-free streets lined with wondrous boutiques + the famous Lucca language school where we learned Italian; further afield, Italian cooking lessons at an Agriturismo run by our friend Lella, an accomplished chef, in the gorgeous hills north of Lucca.
