Overview

Our apartment in the middle of Lucca is on the third floor of a 300 year old mediaeval building. The house has six apartments spread over 3 floors and a shared courtyard on the ground floor. To reach the apartment you have to climb 60 steps, even though the steps are not steep and the climb up is comfortable we do like to warn people about the walk up. The apartment has recently been sympathetically restored to a high standard and now offers two double bedrooms, two living rooms and two bathrooms in 130 square metres of living space. The apartment is fitted throughout with a blend of oak and stone flooring that compliment the whitewashed walls. Most of the rooms have the original chestnut wood and terracotta brick ceilings, these beautiful ceilings lend themselves to further enhance the charm of the apartment. The views from the windows are simply stunning and a genuine delight for the eyes, each window offers a different view from simple rustic rooftops to the splendour of a beautiful church. The kitchen and first living room are open plan and offer 50sqm of space to enjoy with family or friends. The second bedroom, bathroom and second living room are on a sunken, split level floor, ideal if two small parties sharing the apartment require a greater degree of privacy. All rooms are generously proportioned and offer pleasant details. We can assure you that Apartment Mira follows a line of simplicity and comfort that allows our discerning guests to enjoy their stay in a relaxing environment.
