Overview

Excellent location for families or people who adore Tuscany and wish to explore all the attractions of the environs. From the historical villas of Lucca (15-30 minutes) to the beautiful art cities (Lucca, only at 11 km, Pisa and Florence), from the Lucchesi hills (renowned for the DOC wine and extravergine olive oil production) to the famous Versilia beaches (Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore, Forte dei Marmi) and Cinqueterre fishing village. The Casolare del lauro has been restored with a conservative renovation in order to preserve the charming rural Tuscan architecture and converted into independent and well equipped holiday apartments: Fienile (sleeps 4), Rustico (sleeps 4) and upon request Casa Elsa (sleeps 6, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms)

This typical farmhouse, situated between Lucca and Collodi (Pinocchio's village), at the feet of gentle Lucchesi hills, dates back to XIX century. Restored with a conservative renovation, carried out to preserve the charming rural Tuscan architecture (beamed ceilings, fireplaces, old cotto-tiles, stone staircases). It has been converted into 3 holiday apartments (80-100 square mt.). "Casa Elsa" (sleeps 6, two bathrooms of which one with old cast iron tub,living, equipped kitchen, fireplace, pergola, garden). "Rustico" (sleeps 4, living room with old fireplace, equipped kitchen, bathroom with cotto-shower, garden). "Fienile"(sleeps 4, living with equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, garden).
