Overview

It is a rare privilege to come across a magical place where you are treated both as royalty and family at the same time, but that is exactly what the Contessa Anna Passi offers at the Villa Giulia, her family's former summer estate, now a elegant and yet very welcoming bed and breakfast.
It joins the natural hosting rule of an ancient aristocratic Italian family together with the charm of the history, the fascinating guests rooms and the mediterranean landscaped gardens overlooking the sea.
The house is in the Marche, along the Adriatic coast of Central Italy – an area rich in history and notable sites, like the great Renaissance town of Urbino and the independent Republic of San Marino.

The location affords a magnificent view of Fano, a fascinating historic port town, admits the olive grove from which the family still makes and bottles their own olive oil. Here too you will find a large swimming pool with plenty of room to swim.

The food is a highlight. Breakfast is a large, delicious affair with everything from freshly made cakes and tarts to a variety of cereals, fresh yogurt, fresh fruits, sliced meats and cheeses, as well as hot dishes, like omelets and hot sausages. Served in the family dinning room, one can choose to eat out on the veranda and enjoy the view of the ocean and the gardens. Each day brings it surprises. Dinners are a treat. Please be sure to book at least a day in advance, as the meals are prepared fresh and suited to the tastes, as well as the number, of the guests expected. Villa Giulia is the personification of charm and felicity and the staff will do everything they can to ensure your stay is all you expect and even more.

The rooms are all equipped with both the modern convinces one expects from a four star resort, while filled with family heirlooms and personal touches that make you feel like you are one of the family.
Each room has its own personality and character. A great variety of rooms are available to choose from as the property offers accommodations in the main house (from a cozy double bedroom to a selection of great suites), and the “Dependence” (a second building just fifty paces from the main house with group of large master bedrooms). Finally, there are two newly renovated farmhouses with charming apartments that include kitchens and all one needs to live independently, which are perfectly suited to those who wish to make the Villa their home for a few weeks, or longer stays.

There are plenty of flights to the closest airports of Ancona, Rimini, Forlì or Bologna.

Villa Giulia is the starting point for visiting the most important cities of art of the Marche and Umbria regions and some enchanting natural parks close to the sea or on the Appennine mountains.
Fano, Pesaro and Urbino are all a short drive away, the wide Adriatic sandy beaches are at less than 1 km and the surrounding sweet countryside is studded with little medieval walled villages.
